Even though you are dead grandpa, you are not genuinely gone since your memories will live on in our hearts and minds. We love you and we will never forget you. Rest in perfect peace Grandpa.

Distance was a barrier for you to be part of our daily life but I enjoyed the little moment we had together. You will always be my special Hero. We will get to meet and part no more someday in heaven. We all love you but God loves you most. May your soul rest in perfect peace. Goodbye Daddy

Francis Adeniyi Akanbi, Ademola, Alusekere, Teacher of Teachers, great musician, my friend, and gist-partner of over 70years, since 1952. Orun rere o.         

Because of your prowess in music, I pray that God will grant you a place in the “Heaven Choir” to enable you continue singing our childhood primary school song that produced (from zero), four (4) indigenous Bishops, over 100 Priests and Rev. Sisters in the Catholic Diocese of Oyo. The song goes as follows:

Theresa omo owo Jesu fun wa ni sesedoti/padre omo ibile.

On behalf of myself, childhood friends and school mates of 1949, 1950, 1951 and 1952 sets of St John’s Primary School, Bode Isalu, Iseyin and the 1957, 1958 and 1959 sets of St. George’s Catholic Modern School, Owode, Oyo, till we meet again.

Daddy, it sadden my heart when I heard of your demise. You are indeed a great father, a disciplinarian, your days at Government college Ibadan can never be forgotten. You are truly a legend per excellence. RIP daddy.

Daddy, you never say you are leaving. you never say wait to say goodbye, you were gone before i knew it and it is best know to God alone.

When I grew up to know a father, I received your warmth cares.  The blueprints of your deeds are always felt positively on your pathways. You came, You fought, You conquered and I believe you have laid your sword at the feet of the Almighty God, the Alfa and Omega.

Sweet is your remembrance, the Righteous Blood Father and Grandfather to his Immediate Family and Father to Numerous Children.  A Seasoned Administrator, Pacesetter, Mentor, Motivator, Teacher, Disciplinarian, Coach, Diligent, Kindhearted, Cheerful Giver, Quintessential, and Amiable Leader, Lover of God and Peace who wiped away tears from the eyes of many People and gave Comfort and Renewed Hope in time of Needs.

Our last conversation was on sunday 25th of september when I came to say hello to you and we spoke extensively about Nigerian politics,election and what is happening in the country. I really enjoyed our gist and your fatherly advice that you gave me.... sir your death came  to me like a shock and your memories can never be forgotten. Rest on till we meet again
